Join our team as an Order Picker in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida! This position is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse, utilizing technology and manual processes to select the correct items. Your attention to detail and speed will directly contribute to our ability to meet shipping deadlines and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires physical dexterity, including the ability to move quickly, stand for extended periods, and handle significant lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and improve efficiency.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor promptly.
- Meet individual and team performance metrics for picking accuracy and speed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Must be able to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 pounds. Ability to work efficiently in a standing and walking environment for the duration of the shift. Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with warehouse layouts and inventory systems is a plus. Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE. Understanding of basic logistics principles.
