Join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas, as a Warehouse Associate! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution center where you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your role is fundamental to our success in delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are committed to a safe and efficient work environment, providing all necessary tools and training.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics safety standards.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
