Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our distribution center. This role is critical to ensuring that our warehouse infrastructure is in top condition to support smooth and timely order fulfillment. You will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular checks on all warehouse machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including workshops and equipment storage areas.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment needs and schedule repairs.
  • Properly document all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting requirements.
This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar maintenance role within a logistics or distribution environment. A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.
