We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to enhance our warehouse operations in Provo, Utah. If you are a safety-conscious professional with a proven track record of operating forklifts efficiently, we want to hear from you. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely movement of materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout our facility. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics chain. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all movements are executed with precision and adherence to strict safety regulations. A commitment to maintaining operational excellence is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange goods in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to optimize warehouse workflow and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand and operate machinery for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Commitment to safety is paramount.
