Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator looking for a new opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada? Our busy logistics center is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage our high-reaching racking systems. This role is critical for maintaining efficient inventory flow and ensuring the safe and accurate movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, Safety protocols, and the proper use of PPE is essential. This is a key position within our warehousing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move and stack pallets of merchandise in high-bay racking systems.
- Accurately locate and retrieve products for order fulfillment.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring products are stored in the correct locations.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, including Lifting and moving goods manually when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid reach truck certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
