Our Fort Worth, Texas distribution center is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning technology, verifying item details, and securely packaging goods. You will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good manual dexterity, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds, along with bending, stooping, and reaching. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must wear provided PPE, including safety glasses and gloves. Experience with order fulfillment processes and warehouse equipment is beneficial. - Accurately pick products based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Utilize scanning devices to track inventory movement and ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as assigned.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE.
