Job Summary:
Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in Indianapolis, Indiana! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be tasked with retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution operations. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately select items from warehouse locations according to order lists or RF scanner prompts.
  • Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
  • Package selected items appropriately for shipment.
  • Transport picked items to designated staging areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other order-picking equipment.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics for picking accuracy and speed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is beneficial.
  • Ability to consistently perform lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy.
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
