Our growing logistics company is seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our warehouse runs smoothly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Contribute to the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of basic math and reading comprehension. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime. This position requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. Your safety is our top priority, so adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.
