We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily tasks.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement and enforce Safety procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to manage workflow.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization for maximum efficiency.
- Train new warehouse associates on procedures and Safety protocols.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Manage the efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and logistics standards.
- Assess and address any Lifting or ergonomic concerns for staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficient in Safety regulations and best practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Physical ability to conduct warehouse inspections and occasional Lifting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
