Job Summary:
We are searching for an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Austin, Texas. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be a key player in optimizing our supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Implement and improve warehouse procedures and systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Optimize space utilization and ensure a clean and organized facility.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Generate reports on warehouse productivity, inventory, and operational costs.
  • Responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate and enforce safety training, ensuring all team members are aware of lifting guidelines and hazard prevention.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and experience in implementing safety programs.
  • Ability to effectively train and manage a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks as needed, including moderate lifting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
