Our growing warehouse facility in Baltimore, Maryland is looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team. This role is essential for the daily operations of our logistics center, involving a variety of tasks to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and possess a strong commitment to workplace safety. Experience with manual material handling and a willingness to learn are key. We provide all necessary training and require strict adherence to our safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, aisles, and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and using PPE correctly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, which may include occasional overtime.
