We are hiring Picker/Packers for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this role is for you! As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then preparing those items for shipment. This is a crucial role in our logistics process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will include using an RF scanner to pick orders, carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit, and ensuring all orders are correctly labeled and staged for shipping. This position requires physical stamina, as you'll be on your feet for most of your shift and will be involved in considerable Lifting of products. Safety is our top priority, so you must follow all established safety procedures and wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. A good understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to efficiency are highly valued. Join our dedicated team and contribute to the seamless flow of goods within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label orders correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and protocols.
- Ensure the proper use of PPE throughout the shift.
- Perform duties requiring moderate to significant Lifting.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
