Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring efficient operations within our logistics hub. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cycle counting, stocktaking, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to minimize errors and maximize stock availability. You will work closely with warehouse management, receiving, and shipping departments to reconcile inventory records and identify root causes of variances. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. This position requires a commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all company policies. You will be expected to regularly perform duties that involve significant Lifting of boxes and materials, so a good level of physical fitness is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse operations and best practices in logistics. Ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times is paramount for maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with the implementation of new inventory control procedures.
  • Perform tasks requiring significant Lifting and movement of goods.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
