Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport and store materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Place and retrieve inventory from racking systems at various heights.
- Perform regular safety checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and location verification.
- Ensure proper handling and stacking of products to prevent damage and maintain stability.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid reach truck certification or demonstrated proficiency.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical dexterity and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
