We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain optimal workflow and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Accurate picking and packing are crucial for customer satisfaction and minimizing returns. Attention to detail is paramount in this role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a scanner and order lists.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
