_We are seeking a talented and motivated __*Technical Project Manager*_ _to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and eager to learn and work in a large, complex environment. Experienced in project management best practices, guiding a team to expeditiously achieve its goals without compromising quality or sanity is the goal of this project manager._
_You will be working on an experienced, diverse, and highly effective team building and operating secure, compliant, and efficient hybrid cloud environments to empower hardware engineers to thrive. In collaboration with service owners, the team defines, discovers, tracks, and acts on development environments for our partner, a Fortune 50 company. _
_This project manager role will be directly responsible for tracking, reporting, and guiding the output of an IT focused WebApp, application support, and information technology service manager (ITSM) management and administration team. Collaborating with a significant group of stakeholders both within AMS DataSerfs and our partner's engineering teams, you will drive best practices, process development, data-driven decision making, communications, and reporting for your team._
Responsibilities
* Manage technical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
* Understand and adopt the organization program management process for daily operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
* Monitor and report project progress and address any issues that arise
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
* Take, distribute, and archive meeting notes after every meeting, clearly identifying action items and responsible parties
* Enter action items into our IT Service Manager (ITSM) and Project Management tools
* Drive activity to prompt completion, with expected quality, and according to standards
* Track PM-specific semester Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) commitment
* Ensure all action items (Feature/Story/Task) have a description and clearly identified acceptance criteria (success criteria)
* Maintain follow-up communications with stakeholders and action item/dependency holders outside of ITSM and PM tool infrastructure
* Track and distribute operational work, including addressing lingering assigned cases
* Review PM-managed team's cases to ensure proper communication and resolution details are logged
* Drive improvements proactively and retrospectively
* Review Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and push for updates and closure
* Review case feedback and solicit input for improvement from case owners
* Document internal company processes, including case dispatch and internal escalation path
* Peer review process and ownership in both ITSM and PM Tools to ensure quality
Required Qualifications - basic requirements to be considered
* *Bachelor's degree* in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or other technical degrees or equivalent experience.
* *2 years of professional experience* in project management, at least *2 years handling IT projects*
* *English proficiency*, both written and verbal. IET/CEFR/Cambridge C1, TOEFL, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications - what we're looking for
* Agile/Scrum planning experience, especially as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
* Proven experience in project management
* Familiarity with any PM Tool, preferably Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to document and improve internal processes
* Proficiency in data driven decision making
* Ability to forecast project outcomes and make informed decisions
* Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems integration
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Bonus Experiences - ways to stand out
* Six Sigma experience and certification
* Experience directly managing and deploying ITSM systems
* Experience guiding cloud transformations
* Understanding of SQL queries
* Experience designing, approving, and/or building dashboards
* Understanding of PowerBI
* Experience supporting engineering R&D efforts

Typical base pay for this role across *Puget Sound* is *$90,000* per year.
