Working on a diverse and ever-changing range of projects for high profile customers in, Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive, Sub-Sea and Defence engineering sectors, our engineers have the opportunity to engage in the design process from initial concept right through to product delivery. An ability to understand the customer's requirement together with an ability to innovate and produce creative solutions is paramount. In a addition to board level designs you will also be involved in the broader design and product development, engineering technology that is not only functional but solves less obvious customer needs and expectations.

This position is working on projects for the UK defence industry which require us to meet stringent UK government security clearance requirements. *Key Requirements*
Candidates should ideally have experience in some of the following areas:
· Electronic systems design - essential
· Embedded firmware (Microcontroller, PIC, Raspberry Pi, etc) -essential
· User interface software (Windows, Linux)
· Product design
· System testing
· Fault diagnosis
As well as a demonstrable practical aptitude, enthusiasm, adaptability and a positive attitude and are of equal importance.
This role is nominally based at our offices on Portland, with the option to work from our offices near Dorchester. For this role we offer a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience and would be pleased to hear from all candidates that meet the above criteria.
If you meet our technical criteria, but do not have the required experience in industry, we would still be pleased to hear from for other engineering roles.
* 10+ years of work experience in electronic design
* Working in an onsite setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
