Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store products in designated areas of the warehouse, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, palletizing, and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for certified positions).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as directed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order status.
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of PPE and other safety equipment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle Lifting requirements safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic understanding of Logistics and supply chain concepts.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and following all established procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
