Job Summary:
Our Durham, North Carolina facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Your responsibilities will include coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, managing inventory, and optimizing workflows to meet productivity goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in warehouse management and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and coordinating daily warehouse activities.
  • Leading, training, and motivating a team of warehouse associates.
  • Ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Managing inventory levels and conducting regular audits.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitoring productivity and setting performance goals for the team.
  • Resolving operational issues and addressing employee concerns.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including PPE requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with lifting and material handling equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.

This role requires the ability to oversee operations that involve significant material handling and lifting. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to safe lifting practices. We are committed to a secure and efficient logistics operation.
