Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage goods for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
