We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our thriving logistics team in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are received, stored, organized, and distributed efficiently and safely. You will be involved in all stages of material handling, from unloading incoming shipments to preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming materials and supplies.
- Accurately store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to shipping instructions and inventory records.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring the security and safety of goods.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking procedures.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of materials, typically up to 50 lbs, using proper techniques.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling position is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
- Understanding and adherence to warehouse Safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to job duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
