Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in the heart of Los Angeles, California! We are seeking energetic and meticulous individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within our vast warehouse, carefully preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. Your role is pivotal in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. We are committed to providing a secure and safe working environment, emphasizing the importance of Safety protocols and providing all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse storage locations using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for transit, selecting the right packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to outbound packages.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your workstation and assigned warehouse areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock put-away.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting of goods, often up to 40 lbs.
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or general warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet performance metrics.
- Understanding and practice of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
