Are you an experienced Inventory Control Specialist seeking a challenging role in Jacksonville, Florida? Our company is looking for a meticulous and proactive individual to oversee and manage our inventory with precision. This position is vital to our logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to minimize losses and damages.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and identify trends.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Train and guide warehouse staff on inventory best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as needed.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards in all aspects of the job.
