Opportunity awaits for a diligent Material Handler in sunny Miami, Florida! Our warehouse operations rely on efficient material handling to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include managing the movement of goods within the warehouse, from receiving shipments to preparing them for distribution. You'll be instrumental in maintaining an organized and safe work environment, ensuring all materials are properly stored and accounted for. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the physical ability to perform warehouse tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accepting and unloading incoming shipments.
- Organizing and storing inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Retrieving and staging materials for outbound orders.
- Operating pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and orderly.
- Participating in inventory counts and checks.
- Following all established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Using required PPE diligently.
Requirements:
- Experience in a material handling or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
- Willingness to operate different types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable in a busy logistics environment.
- Punctual and dependable.
