We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment and inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper storage.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including the use of PPE .
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
