We are seeking qualified Forklift Operators to join our busy Miami, Florida distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods through our warehouse and supporting our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload pallets and other materials from trucks.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance and Safety.
- Accurately stack and store materials in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and protocols.
- Properly utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and moving of heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
- Good physical condition, able to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
