Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Madison, Wisconsin, and play a vital role in our e-commerce fulfillment center. This position is fundamental to our Logistics network, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves and then carefully packing them for shipment. A keen eye for detail is essential to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times to maintain a safe working environment. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and frequent Lifting of packages up to 40 pounds. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, have a strong work ethic, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not mandatory; we provide thorough training. Success in this role means contributing to the smooth operation of our distribution center and helping us meet our delivery commitments. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement.
- Maintain productivity standards and accuracy goals.
- Follow all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE .
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Support overall Logistics flow by ensuring timely processing of orders.
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting of products.
