We are searching for an energetic and responsible individual to assist in the efficient movement and storage of goods within our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory, as well as preparing outgoing shipments. You will operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, to transport materials safely and effectively. This role demands a strong focus on safety and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized workspace and ensuring that all materials are handled with care. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is critical. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
