Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring that materials are readily available for production or shipping. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a secure working environment, adhering to all safety standards, and correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE ). Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload raw materials and finished goods.
  • Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks using appropriate equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and stack materials in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of required PPE .
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall logistics and operational flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse procedures and basic logistics .
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and proficiency in using PPE .
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
