We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator for our San Antonio, Texas warehouse. This role is critical for efficient inventory management and material handling within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and racking systems.
- Accurately place and retrieve inventory from high-level racking.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper placement and scanning of goods.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Contribute to overall warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck and other material handling equipment.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
