You will be involved in maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally to support inventory management and order fulfillment. A critical component of this role is upholding stringent safety standards, including ensuring all team members understand and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly, and following all safety protocols rigorously. Experience with warehouse technology, automation, or specialized equipment is highly desirable. The position requires physical capability, including lifting and working in various warehouse conditions. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting operations.
- Ensure optimal functionality of automated systems and machinery.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking systems.
- Monitor and enforce all safety regulations and protocols, including proper PPE usage.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in logistics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and equipment maintenance.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Experience with automation or specialized warehouse technology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are advantageous.
