Opportunity awaits a motivated Warehouse Technician in sunny Miami, Florida! We are looking for a skilled individual to perform a variety of technical tasks within our warehouse environment. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of our facility and ensuring the smooth execution of our Logistics operations. You will be involved in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount, and you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely. The ideal candidate will have a technical aptitude, experience with warehouse equipment, and a keen eye for detail. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility for potential hazards.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times when working with machinery.
- Support Logistics operations by ensuring equipment availability.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a focus on Safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar mechanical role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse machinery and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics systems and processes.
- Technical certifications or training in mechanics are a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
