Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Provo, Utah! We are looking for an energetic individual to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the movement of materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from receipt to dispatch. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts and other machinery, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory. A strong focus on safety is expected, and all employees are required to use appropriate PPE. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Experience in a fast-paced logistics environment is highly desirable. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and contribute to a positive work atmosphere. Understanding of warehouse best practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all company safety regulations and wear mandatory PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting.
- Certification to operate forklifts is a plus.
- Knowledge of logistics procedures.
- Dedication to Safety and adherence to regulations.
