This role involves operating various material handling equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper flow of goods throughout the facility. You will contribute directly to the success of our supply chain operations. A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of material movements and ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage. Continuous improvement in processes is encouraged. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled correctly.
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving and put-away processes.
- Support production and shipping teams by delivering materials as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling techniques.
