Spherion is seeking a Franchise Sales and Development Manager for our client in Lima, OH! The Franchise Sales and Development Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of franchise sales, from lead generation through deal execution and initial franchisee onboarding. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, experienced Senior Franchising professional-ideally someone who is fully equipped to close deals and build a strong pipeline independently. Responsibilities: Franchise Sales & Lead Generation (Crucial Focus):
Develop and execute comprehensive lead generation strategies through direct outreach, targeted campaigns, industry networks, and attendance at conventions/expos Guide prospective franchisees through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry and qualification to due diligence and final agreement execution. Territory Expansion Strategy:
Identify, research, and prioritize target markets for brand expansion, focusing on regions where food supplier availability is confirmed. Collaborate with internal teams and new franchisees to support site selection, lease negotiation, and detailed market analysis within their territories. Market Research and Reporting:
Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and regional growth opportunities within target markets. Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights directly to the executive team. Franchisee Onboarding Support:
Provide hands-on assistance to new franchisees through the initial onboarding and development process. Ensure all new operations are fully aligned with brand standards, operational expectations, and support systems. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) or broader Food Service industry experience preferred Education: No Degree Required Experience: 4-7 years Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in franchise sales and development Documented history of successfully closing franchise deals and proficiently managing a high-volume growth pipeline. Strong understanding of franchise operations, relevant legal frameworks, and territory development strategies. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are required for closing high-value agreements. Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time for site visits, industry expos, and prospect meetings across the Midwest and East Coast. Apply Today!
