We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of our data pipelines. You will work closely with data engineers and developers to evaluate datasets, test ETL processes, and work with business teams to identify opportunities to improve data quality and accelerate development cycles. 3-5 years of developing and using SQL queries in a professional environment preferred. Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or Business Analytics preferred. 2 years of Python experience preferred. Job Summary: Evaluates business requirements and performs complex data integration and analysis utilizing highly advanced analytical methods while developing advanced and highly complex analytical and reporting tools. Coordinates data projects, provides technical support, and participates in funding development. Essential Functions: Analyze and validate complex datasets across multiple sources and systems. Test and monitor ETL pipelines to ensure performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with data engineering to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows. Develop and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards. Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, including automated checks and anomaly detection. Develop best practices in data analysis and ETL testing - Identify data anomalies and root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, lineage, and transformation logic. Support strategic initiatives, ad hoc data requests, and reporting needs from stakeholders with advanced data analysis and modeling. Physical Effort: Light, little physical effort.
