Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory accuracy and control within our warehouse operations. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and implementing efficient inventory management strategies. This position demands a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. You will conduct regular audits, analyze inventory data, and work closely with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, and is committed to maintaining the integrity of our stock. Physical stamina may be required for tasks involving moderate Lifting and moving within the warehouse. Adherence to stringent Safety protocols and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE are essential for this role. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve complex inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Train and guide junior inventory staff as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or management in a warehouse environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of WMS and inventory management best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
  • Understanding of overall logistics and supply chain operations.
