We are looking for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key part in optimizing storage space and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility. The ideal candidate possesses a strong safety record, excellent equipment operating skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move pallets and materials to and from storage areas and loading docks.
- Load and unload trailers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Safely stack and unstack merchandise in designated racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on reach trucks and report any issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations within the warehouse.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Understanding of Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
