Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is fundamental to our logistics and distribution processes, ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within the warehouse. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving, sorting, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, be physically capable of handling materials, and possess a commitment to Safety and accuracy. Experience with material handling equipment is a plus. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Sort and organize materials according to established procedures and storage locations.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Stock shelves and racks with incoming inventory, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including staging, labeling, and consolidation.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and discrepancy reporting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all company Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Support overall logistics team goals and contribute to efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety in the workplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
