This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive lifting are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas and production areas.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Scan and record inventory quantities and locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
