They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineering Apprentice to join their skilled team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across IT support, network infrastructure, and audio-visual installation, working with a variety of clients and technologies. You will learn from experienced engineers, gain valuable industry certifications, and build a strong foundation for your career in network engineering.
In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, including routers, switches, cabling, and wireless solutions. Support the monitoring and management of network security technologies. Participate in preventative maintenance visits and repairs on ICT and AV equipment at client sites. Assist in server administration, including user account management, backups, and security protocols. Support classroom technology installations and maintenance, including interactive displays and AV systems. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to clients, diagnosing and resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site. Help maintain licensing records, warranty logs, and service documentation in line with SLAs. Collaborate with the team to deliver product demonstrations and training to clients. Gain exposure to WSUS Management, MDT/WDS capture, antivirus solutions, and Apple network configuration. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
Have the ability to communicate with staff at all levels. Good attention to detail. Organised and able to prioritise tasks. Ability to demonstrate a practical approach when faced with problems or challenges. Must be committed and willing to learn. Enthusiastic and Self-Motivated. Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 5 in GCSE English. Salary, Hours&Benefits:
£18,000 per annum. 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. Fully remote role. Career progression opportunities. This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in Network Engineering.

This Level 4 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in Network Engineering.
You'll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you'll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You'll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
