We a seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team!
In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles. including semi-tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and delivery vans. Your day-to-day will involve using advanced diagnostic tools, preforming repairs, and ensuring our fleet is running safely and efficiently.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation
* Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and system checks
* Diagnose malfunctions using computerized and manual diagnostic tools
* Repair and replace transmissions, hydraulics, suspension components, and other critical systems
* Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities
* Maintain refrigeration units on ThermoKings
* Provide on-call support for urgent repairs outside normal hours
* Use tools including welding torches, hydraulic jacks, and pneumatic wrenches
* *Qualifications*
* 3-5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience with formal diesel mechanic education by means of training, certification and/or degree required
* Class 7 & 8; required
* Valid Class A (preferred) and/or B-CDL license with a clean driving record; required
* ThermoKing experience strongly preferred.
* Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude preferred
* Certifications related to diesel mechanics or automotive repair are a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
