At our newly opening wood-fired restaurant, we are looking for an experienced and professional host who will provide excellent service to our guests. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-service restaurant, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
- Comfort using OpenTable or similar reservation platforms, with training provided if needed.
- The ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- To create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Manage OpenTable reservations, waitlists, and guest notes efficiently.
- Maintain accurate floor plans, pacing, transitions, and table assignments.
- Communicate realistic wait times and manage guest expectations effectively.
