Safran Turney Hospitality is accepting resumes for Chef de Cuisine position for our well known restaurant group in center city Philadelphia. We are looking for a Chef who can bring their love of Italian cooking to our group of restaurants. A Chef passionate about house made/extruded pasta, wood fired cooking, seasonal cooking and creative vegetable dishes.
A Chef who is organized, who value details and runs all areas of the restaurant with structure, detailed procedures and organization. A Chef who is professional, creates a positive kitchen and restaurant culture and enjoys mentoring young cooks.
Salary range starts at our different restaurant concepts from 70k-85k per year to start and depends upon your experience of running a busy, successful restaurant & LEADING a team. This is a great position for the Executive Sous Chef who is confident and ready to take the next step We have a Culinary Director who is ready to mentor the right person into this position
Safran Turney Hospitality offers:

Ideal candidate will:
* have 3-5 years as CDC or Executive Sous Chef experience in a similar fast paced restaurant.
* possess solid leadership of restaurant culinary operation, including prep/line checks, periodically cooking on the line next to your team & coaching them.
* have a positive presence throughout the restaurant.
* create menu items with local, seasonal offerings.
* develop relationships with local farms
* be able to manage kitchen staff effectively & delegate responsibilities to the team of Sous Chefs
* communicates job expectations & manages employee performance.
* delegate + monitor cleaning of stations + BOH restaurant.
* monitor food cost, labor cost & inventory.
