The role is to maintain, service and repair horseboxes. Along with carrying out pre-test inspections, fault finding, repairing mechanical faults and working with specialist contractors on Horsebox builds and refurbishments, as well as liaising directly with customers. The ability to put your problem-solving skills into practice as you diagnose vehicle issues. Working independently whilst being a key team member of a small and friendly team. The opportunity to learn new skills along with career progression and the potential to develop into a Workshop Manager role.
Essential:
* Mechanical experience
* UK Driving License
* Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
Desired Skills:
* Self-motivation and ability to function independently and within a team
* Ability to function calmly under pressure
* Practical and enquiring approach to problem-solving
* Dedication to quality and reliability in all aspects of work
* Responsiveness to customer needs and focus on customer satisfaction
Nice to have but not essential
* General electric, woodwork and plumbing
* Steel welding experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
