We have an exciting opening for a Material Handler in Las Vegas, Nevada! In this role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials within our distribution center. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and managing inventory effectively. This position is critical to maintaining the flow of goods through our logistics network. We are seeking individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and possess experience with material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, put-away, and cycle counting.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure materials are organized, properly stored, and accessible.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment within the logistics chain.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
