Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Transport materials efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and organize materials to optimize space and ensure safety.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all warehouse and logistics procedures for material handling.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety vests and gloves, at all times for your protection.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or operating material handling equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Good stamina and physical condition.
- Understanding of warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safe lifting practices and adherence to all logistics safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
