Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to inventory management processes. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and profitability of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, shortages, and overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away process to ensure accurate inventory entry.
  • Promote and adhere to all Safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements for optimal logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • Experience with Lifting and moving inventory is required.
  • Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
