We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler to join our Salt Lake City, Utah operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in the movement and organization of materials throughout our facility, ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing of goods. Your responsibilities will span from receiving raw materials to distributing finished products, all while prioritizing Safety and accuracy. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence within our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming materials.
- Prepare materials for production or shipment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of materials up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labor, including Lifting and carrying.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
