We are seeking a dynamic Distribution Center Associate to join our facility in Madison, Wisconsin. In this crucial role, you will be involved in various aspects of our distribution process, ensuring that products move efficiently from our center to our customers. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy and adhering to strict Safety standards. This is a hands-on position perfect for someone who enjoys an active role in a busy logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Assist with other distribution center tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace Safety.
